I purchased a machine from block shear in 2014 to use for refractory work in the mills. The splitter The splitter has decreased the time it takes to complete the jobs. I think the Blockshear splitter will outlast me.

I have been using these stone splitters for many years. My jobs times have been cut in half due to using these splitters. Due to the jobs taking less time due to the efficiency of the splitter, my business has doubled. Any questions I had were answered by one phone call to Ray. Ray at Blockshear takes the time to discuss the different products he sells and if it will work for the type of stone you are using.

I did a large driveway with very hard granite cobblestone. The Block Shear was the most affordable solution I could find online at the time, and it worked great. I thought about selling it after the job was done because I wasn’t sure I was going to use it again, but I decided to hold onto it for future projects. It definitely works as advertised.

Well built splitter, air over hydraulic is well worth it. Heavy duty, American-made unit. Would absolutely recommend.

I was working on a stone project in Ligonier, PA and got interested in Block Shear’s manual hydraulic stone splitter after reading the many positive reviews and watching videos on their website. Since I was nearby, Ray let me come out and try it before buying. The demo was helpful, the product worked great, and the service was excellent.

This is a quality piece of heavy-duty equipment. No more time-consuming, labor-intensive splitting stone by hand. Splits large limestone and sandstone easily.

I was a little skeptical on the company’s description on splitting natural stone. It will do every claimed and above 😉 I definitely have put it to the test.

I’m am very glad I spent the extra for air over hydraulic!!! I’m not a fan of the foot pedal pump it’s slow and tedious. The release is also something I wish they would improve, but it is what it is..works.

All in all I’m very pleased with the unit.

We have many splitters and this one is by far the best. I’ve been in the business for 53 years and the rock face finish that we get saves our masons time and the company money making us more competitive and our work high quality.

We had gotten 2 of these units for our rental fleet. There are the best on the market by far and quality made.

After using the Blockshear stone splitter effectively for almost 5 years the only issue I had was a broken hose. The hose was not defective, it was cut while in transport. I called Ray at block shear for advice on how to fix it. Instead of advising me he immediately shipped out a replacement hose at no cost! Not only are the machines at Blockshear amazing, the service is second to none! Thanks Ray!

45 years in business and this stone splitter is by far the best i have ever used. Built to handle any type of stone with no difficulties. Cuts stone exactly where and how you want it. I love the 18 inch wide table for shaping caps or large dry stack stones, can easily handle 8 inch thick stones. Great tool and fairly priced. Every stone mason should have one of these.
