A Hydraulic Slab Splitter for Big Material
The Block Shear Stone & Slab Splitter is the widest machine in the line, with an opening 24.5 inches wide and 8.25 inches high. It is built for stone slab, step treads, coping, caps and large format pavers that will not fit a standard splitter.
A hydraulic foot lever drives 40,000 lb of force through .75″ x 5″ ground and case hardened tool steel blades. The frame is modular to cut maintenance time and cost, and hand cart wheels move its 400 lb around the yard or job. Choose manual hydraulic for work anywhere, or air-assist hydraulic for faster cycles in a stone yard or fabrication shop.
Stone yards, fabricators and hardscape contractors use it in place of saw cutting on oversized material, which saves time and keeps dust down.

Beyond expectations
I was a little skeptical on the company’s description on splitting natural stone. It will do every claimed and above 😉 I definitely have put it to the test.
I’m am very glad I spent the extra for air over hydraulic!!! I’m not a fan of the foot pedal pump it’s slow and tedious. The release is also something I wish they would improve, but it is what it is..works.
All in all I’m very pleased with the unit.
