The Block Shear stone splitter is a hydraulic guillotine built for masons who split natural stone every day. Set the stone on the table, line up the mark, and the single hydraulic foot lever drives 40,000 lb of force through two case hardened tool steel blades. The stone breaks where you want it, with a natural rock face ready to lay.
The worktable height adjusts to the stone, so thin veneer and 8 inch wall stone both sit right under the blades. Choose the manual hydraulic model to split anywhere with no power or air, or the air-assist hydraulic model to cycle faster off a compressor on high volume jobs.
Every machine is built in Pittsburgh, PA, and the blades and frame weldment carry a one year warranty. Most users report the splitter pays for itself on the first job.
